No feet on the ground

No feet on the ground?!

At this moment i’m all about adjustment and compromising.

Which is lovely...

But i have been keeping my feet on the ground for far to long, So i guess i’m stuck.
Haven’t been able to put my head in the clouds for a long time and i just don't seem to move forward.

Not so lovely....

newsflash: having a short attention span does not mean you “have ADD.”

jewelweed:

  • things that are very fast-paced are not “ADD”
  • movies/songs/situations with disjointed themes are not “totally ADD”
  • being forgetful does not mean you’re so “ADD”
  • feel free to add more

appropriating experience of mental illness into an adjective is dismissive and mean. stop it.

And people who have a bad day, week or month aren’t depressed.
People who tend to be somewhat compulsive (who isen’t) don’t have OCD.
People with tics don’t always swear or have tourettes (again who hasn’t).
Not all psychopaths had a bad youth and visa versa.
And it’s not logical to say that you are afraid of spiders because you have an anxiety disorder. It’s not because of the disorder but because of the spiders, who will hunt you down and eat you up, you’re terrified. And just call it a phobia, don’t make it so big.

Yeah, it’s different if you have a diagnosis. I don’t like saying “I’m so OCD”, but that’s just me.
